There is good news for all the SMS addicts. The Indian Telecom regulator, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has today raised the limit of SMS’s from One hundred per day per SIM to Two hundred SMS (200 SMS) per day per SIM. TRAI stated that it has received suggestions from some of the service providers and the consumers as well to increase the limit of 100 SMS per day per SIM. Therefore it has well thought for these representations and has decided to increase the limit of one hundred SMS per day per SIM to two hundred SMS per day per SIM/ Subscriber.

TRAI directs all Access Providers (GSM and CDMA Mobile service operators) to sets a cap of 100 SMSs per day per users on 27th of September 2011.
